Reading Passage: The Magical Forest
Once upon a time, in a mysterious forest, there lived a young girl named Lena.
Lena was an adventurous soul who loved exploring the woods. She would spend hours wandering among the tall trees, listening to the rustling leaves and the chirping birds.
One day, Lena discovered a hidden path that led deeper into the forest. The path was overgrown with ferns and dappled with sunlight. Lena followed it eagerly, her heart pounding with excitement. As she walked, she noticed glowing mushrooms lining the sides of the path. Their soft light illuminated the way, creating a magical ambience.
Deeper into the forest, Lena encountered strange creatures. There were giant snails with shimmering shells, mischievous fairies playing hide-and-seek, and even a friendly dragon who offered her pearls of wisdom. Lena felt like she had stepped into a storybook.
But the most enchanting sight was the ancient oak tree at the heart of the forest. Its gnarled branches reached toward the sky, and its trunk was thick and weathered. Underneath the tree was a stone circle, and Lena could feel the energy emanating from it. She wondered if it was a portal to another world.
As Lena continued her journey, she realized that the forest was more than just trees and creatures. It held secrets, magic, and a sense of belonging. She vowed to visit the magical forest whenever she needed inspiration or a break from the ordinary.
